In response to the devastating fires that swept through the foothills of Altadena and Pasadena, California, Little Havana Shop is taking action to support our four-legged community members affected by this crisis. We believe that pets and animals are integral parts of our families and cultural fabric, and when they suffer, our entire community feels the impact. Effective January 10, 2025 through February, we are donating 50% of the proceeds from our horse/dog/cat necklace to support two outstanding organizations: Pasadena Humane Society and Fleet of Angels.
These organizations are working tirelessly on the frontlines of the foothill fires, providing emergency shelter, evacuation assistance, and vital care to displaced and injured animals. The Pasadena Humane Society has opened its doors to pets whose families have been evacuated, while Fleet of Angels is coordinating crucial transportation services to move animals to safety. While people have generously donated an abundance of supplies and pet food to the Humane Society, they have issued a plea for funds to provide the needed medical care and treatment. These voiceless members of our community need our help now more than ever.
